There are five kinds of videos that Youtube recommended to me in my homepage based on the screenshot above.
- Korean Singers
- Niki
- Room Makeover
- Cocomelon
- Vlogs
I find these relevant because I always watch funny vlogs, and currently fangirling with NIKI because she released a new album. I always watch korean girl groups. The Cocomelon is relevant even if it’s not one of my interests because we have kids at home. IU was recommended because she is also a female korean singer.
What are the differences / nuances in the messaging when the recommendation was fed to you e.g. people who liked X also liked Y, people who bought X also bought Y, people from the PH watched this, etc.
For Youtube, there are no messaging like these in the homepage. However for Netflix, there are nuances like “Because You Watched Meet Me in St. Gallen”
What is your personal opinion on the relevance of the ads that was fed to you, and how these ads influenced your next action
These recommendations influenced my action because now I let the kids in the house to watch Cocomelon and I am now listening to IU.
